Portraits

Photographs are so important in these rapidly changing times - babies quickly grow into young children, soon becoming teenages in the blink of an eye. From there adulthood and before you know it they have left home often not visiting for many months at a time. Then one day they call to make a 'little announcement' you are about to become a grandparent and so we begin our story once more.

A house can only be a home if it has memories - happy memories of a family celebration, maybe a certain birthday celebration, an important occasion, a moment to remember - the sad loss of a loved one often brings all those happy memories flooding back. Wallis Photography has provided many of these happy moments to many thousands of satisfied clients around the world for over 25 years. We often receive commissions from familys visiting from far flung places - often the other side of the world, over here for a month or so catching up on family and friends. When they return they want more than just memories - well taken portraits and images will do just that ! We will even e-mail them to you if you are in a rush.

A portrait sitting and session with Wallis Photography need not be a traumatic affair taken in some dingy studio. We do not  crush you into a stuffy room with the traditional library book back drop or maybe a woodland scene that could be taken anywhere from an industrial estate in Luton to an above the shop location in Mumbai ! Our task is to please and provide you with lovely, quality images - images we will be proud of.

Some say " O'h but I don't like having my photograph taken ! ". That's because you have had a bad experience in the past and the memory lives on. Why not make it an enjoyable moment and combine a family visit with a portrait session and enjoy it - after all we do and we also enjoy photographing you !  For the princely sum of £55 we will treat you to such a session and also include a mounted 10" x 8" print too.

In Bedfordshire we are blessed with some very beautiful locations and scenery in and around the very delightful market town of Bedford itself. From the nearby River Embankment to the pristine grounds of Bedford Park and it's magnificent water features, we will ensure you not only have a large selection of images to choose from but we will also introduce a whole lot of fun into the sitting as well - at no extra charge. 

If your own home or garden lends itself to such a sitting why not use that as the perfect location - after all memories are created here and memories last a life time !
